Day Nine-My Blanket

31 Day Photo Challenge-Day Nine
A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

It's not a person but it has been there for me though thick and thin, my blanket. My blanket has been there for me when I had scraped knees, upsets with friends, and boyfriend break-ups and I can't imagine going through any hardship without it.

Day 7-My Camera

31 Day Photo Challenge-Day 7
A picture of your most treasured item

My camera is my most treasured item. It is my creative outlet, a source of income, and the way I understand and translate the world I live in. I am someone who understands images and sees the importance in recording the world in images. Without my camera, I would feel at a loss to record my life and the lives around me.

Day Six-My Night

31 Day Photo Challenge-Day Six
A picture of your night

Birthday Party! For the first time in 13 years, Kayla and I had a joint party to celebrate our 23rd birthday. We had a Star Wars themed party at a local laser tag center.

Day Five-Historic Figures

31 Day Photo Challenge-Day Five
A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day

Cleopatra-Historically, she is seen as a woman of power and intrigue but so much of her life is unknown or debated. If I could spend one day as Cleopatra I could help clear up the mystery, and the best part is I could experience what it was like to live during the height of Egyptian empire.

Elizabeth I-Also a woman of power, I would love to trade places with Elizabeth I of England and better understand her mind, the thoughts within, and whether or not she was a true visionary.

Day Four-Stargazing

31 Day Photo Challenge-Day Four
A picture of your favorite memory

I don't actually have a picture of my favorie memory but I can definitely write about it! I love stargazing but living in the city does not allow many opportunity to do so. The city lights drown the glow of the stars but believe it or not, my favorite memory happens to be stargazing in the city. When I first started dating my boyfriend, we often went stargazing. One particualr night, while in the city, we saw the most amazing sky. Although the night sky was not covered in twinkling lights as it would be in the mountains or camping, we witnessed the most incredible shooting stars, one right after the other! My guy, a warm summer night, and shooting stars-this memory is as close to perfect as you can get!

Day Three-The Doctor

31 Day Photo Challenge-Day Three
A picture of the cast from your favorite show

This is a tough one to answer because I am continually finding new shows that I love! Currently, I love "Larkrise to Candleford," "Glee," "Raising Hope," and "Bones" but if I had to pick one my favorite TV show it would be "Doctor Who." It's quarky, cheesy, intellectual, and a guilty pleasure all at the same time! It is also the longest running TV show of all time (the first episode aired in the mid 1960's). If you haven't had the opportunity to see "Doctor Who" and you are someone who understands British humor and doesn't mind a little sci-fi, you should definitely join the cult following of "Doctor Who."
